Hygienalia and Pulire join forces in the cleaning and industrial hygiene sector

The Shows promoted by the Spanish National Cleaning and Hygiene Products Association (ASFEL), and the Italian National Association of Manufacturers of Professional Cleaning Machinery, Products and Accessories (AFIDAMP), join forces to cover the sector’s needs more efficiently.

The purpose of this merge consists in converting this event into a reference event for this sector in the Iberian Peninsula, thus reinforcing the cross-sectional nature of the event from both the exhibition offer and the visiting professionals viewpoints.

Barcelona, March 2011.- For the purpose of organizing the largest event in the sector, Hygienalia and Pulire have decided to merge to organize a single biennial event in order to cover the whole cleaning and professional hygiene sector in the Iberian Peninsula.

HYGIENALIA+PULIRE, the Cleaning and Professional Hygiene Trade Fair, is promoted by ASFEL, the Spanish National Cleaning and Hygiene Manufacturers Association, and is organized by Feria Valencia, Reed Exhibitions and the Italian AFIDAMP.

This trade fair will take place at Feria Valencia from 31st January to 2nd February 2012 for the purpose of adapting to the sector’s requests. The vast majority of companies that support both projects have shown they are willing to continue to promote this show.

Spain’s professional cleaning sector’s strategic and economic value render the organization of a specific trade fair necessary in this domain. Besides, Hygienalia+Pulire will be an innovative trade fair organized by the sector for the sector. Finally, its purpose is to place maximum importance on exhibitors’ and professional visitors’ interests.

Mr.Josep Pinent, the Chair of both ASFEL and the Organizing Committee, has stressed that “the merge between Hygienalia and Pulire is a giant step on the way to showing the variety of segments making up this sector and of highlighting its importance in the market, whose basic and main aim is to create value for visitors and exhibitors alike. So, we look forward to seeing you all in Valencia!”.

Furthermore, Mr. Toni D’Andrea, the General Director of AFIDAMP, wishes to stress that “Pulire has grown a great deal in the last few years, and also in Spain. We are grateful to the market for trusting us, and which has allowed us to build a great project today.  Our will has always been to share the effort and success of a marvellous idea with a local partner. The experience of those professionals who, day after day work, will increase the value of modernity in this market, and bring us all much added value. Hygienalia + Pulire will become a high quality project for not only Spain, but will certainly prove to be a wonderful experience for us all”.

Hygienalia+Pulire brings together the professionalism of Reed Exhibitions, world leader in organizing trade fairs, with Feria Valencia, whose installations are among the ten largest in the world, and Afidamp’s international experience, the organizer of the PULIRE trade fairs in Verona, Singapore, Bombay, Istanbul and Moscow.
