Hygienalia+Pulire goes green, and is turning towards ecology. An initiative to respect our environment, our planet The Earth, the common home we all must take care of.

Conscious of the importance of concepts such as the environment, sustainability and ecology, indispensable values to guarantee the future of next generations, our intention with this project is to transform these words into actions. It is time for commitment.

This project wants to stimulate and promote products, materials and technologies environmentally friendly. To help exhibitors investing in this field, not only by recognizing them, but also offering them a green show platform. In a few words: turning towards being green.

1. Considerations

The commitment and trust between organizers and exhibitors is essential to gain the recognition we all desire for the Green Path. The final outcome will depend basically on this factor. The visual communication market is too complex and wide and in any case the organization should assume the function of judging what is, or isn’t, respectful with the environment.

Therefore the exhibitor will set its own criteria when submitting an environmentally friendly product. The market itself will finally test the product, and if the eco attributes are friendly (recyclable, biodegradable, eco-efficient, etc.).

Exhibitors will be able to present up to 5 products, services or initiatives: These products/services must use less water and energy and emit less CO2 and other gases during both use and production. They must not be harmful to human, animal and vegetable health, etc. Measures which make transport more efficient, actions which have reduced containers and packaging, the use of renewable energies in factories, electric vehicles and any other action designed to reduce the impact on the environment may also be promoted.

It is essential that the exhibitor’s participants on the Green Path have the product documentation proving the green characteristics, such as specific regulations, standards DIN / ISO, green certificates, green protocols, etc. We suggest presenting only products with some kind of green certificate.

2. How Green Line works during Hygienalia+Pulire

Green Line consists of a route with stops at the stand of every company that has registered as a participant in advance. The cost of participation is €236 + VAT.

Each exhibitor may present a maximum of five products/services/activities. These will form part of the 'green area' both on the show's website and in the green dossier distributed to the trade press.

At the trade fair, each exhibitor company will receive an emblem which identifies its stand as a 'station'. This must be placed inside the stand in a visible location and will identify the company as a Green Line participant. This emblem may also be used before and after the show.

Under no circumstances may this emblem be used graphically for sales purposes inside the stand. Its use is limited to the signs identifying the 'station' provided by the organisers.

Inside the stand, the exhibitor must place the emblem in a highly visible location so that visitors may easily identify participants.

3. 'Station' emblem in the stand

  1. Only two 'Station' emblems may be placed inside the stand.
  2. The organisers will supply two signs measuring 297 x 420 mm.
  3. Exhibitors may produce the emblem using their own resources, provided that the original design is maintained. In this case, the maximum measurements shall be 600 x 800 mm.

 Provided by the organisers:

  • Measurements: 297 x 420 mm.
  • Signs provided: 2
  • Material: self-adhesive paper

 Produced by the exhibitor:

  • Maximum measurements: 600 x 800 mm.
  • Minimum measurements: 297 x 420 mm.
  • Units permitted: 2
  • Material: self-adhesive paper

4. Promotion. Where and how Green Line is promoted

The organisers will make a significant effort to promote and publicise the participants' green offerings. To this end, there is a varied and extensive range of activities designed to promote and publicise this initiative among visitors and professionals in the visual communication market, both all year and during the event itself. Coverage of your products is guaranteed.
